Town of Athens to Hold an Open House on Comprehensive Plan Update

The Town of Athens is hosting an Open House to gather citizen input on the draft comprehensive plan.  All residents, business owners, and other interested persons are invited and encouraged to attend the meeting, which is being held on Wednesday, May 2nd from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in the State Room, at the Jerry L. Beasley Student Center, located on the Concord University campus.

The meeting will be in an open house format to accommodate participant’s schedules.  Interested persons can stop by any time between 4:00pm-6:00pm on May 2nd to offer ideas, voice concerns, and help formulate ideas regarding the draft comprehensive plan.

Representatives from the Town of Athens’ Planning Commission and the Land Use and Sustainable Development Law Clinic, WVU College of Law will be available to answer questions and take comments.
